Hello, I’m Nicky Hambleton-Jones, a leading personal stylist in the UK since 2001. Some of you may also remember me from the hit TV makeover show, 10 Years Younger, and more recently ‘Drop A Decade’ on This Morning.
Whether you’re already acquainted with my work or discovering me for the first time, welcome! If you’re seeking a profound transformation, you’ve arrived at the perfect destination because transformation is my superpower.
Let me share a success story from one of my clients. She came to me feeling overweight, stuck in her career, and perpetually single. Within minutes of meeting her, I realised it wasn’t a “weight” problem but a “size” issue—her clothes were two sizes too big. She was self-conscious about her curves and felt the need to cover up. With a simple suggestion to try a smaller size, she instantly dropped two dress sizes. She felt amazing about herself, landed her dream job, and even found her Mr. Right—all within a matter of weeks.
That’s when I truly understood the power that your image holds over your life.
Get it right, and you’ll soar; ignore it, and time will pass you by.
What makes me qualified to work with you?
With a keen eye for fashion and a passion for empowering others, I’ve travelled the world styling hundreds of men and women. I’ve trained and mentored many students through my Style Academy, collaborated with top brands on corporate events, and much more. I’ve been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers, authored four best-selling books, and served as a board member for the charity Smart Works.
But what truly qualifies me to work with you is that I care about my clients and how they look. No matter how difficult or challenging you think you might be, I’m dedicated to finding the right style solutions for you. I have never failed to transform a client, and I don’t plan on starting anytime soon.
Style isn’t an exact science—it can come together in an instant or require a longer process—but the end result is always amazing.
On a more personal note…
- • I’m a mum to two teenagers.

- • I wear lipstick every day, usually red.
- • I’ve worn glasses since the age of 7. I used to be embarrassed by them until I learned how to style them out.
- • I am by nature incredibly shy, but I quickly learnt how to use my outfits as a tool to start conversations I didn’t have the courage to initiate.
- • I never leave the house without SPF 50, regardless of the weather.
- • I grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, before moving to London in 1996. I have lived in Cape Town, New York, San Francisco, and Luxembourg (random, I know).
- • I trained to be a Dietitian, when I struggled to get the professional attention of consultant doctors on ward rounds, I invested in the best navy suit I could find; when I wore it, everyone listened.
- • I used to be a hair model; I’ve had my hair dyed most colours, (pink included) which is why I stick with my trademark blonde now.
- • As a child, I aspired to be a professional ballet dancer but gave it up at 15 due to the demands of training and the allure of clubbing with friends.
- • I’m a voracious reader—my record is seven books in two weeks.
- • My greatest sporting achievement is completing a sprint triathlon.
